Fawizyah Rahman

Fawziyah an interdisciplinary artist and healthcare worker who works through mark-making, multi-media sculpture and communion. Through work that explores healing, trauma and world building, Fawziyah plays with power dynamics, challenging western dualism through an ecofeminist lens. Their work respond to sites and events, with the aim of inverting inward experiences at the margins of class, race and gender to the exterior, to open conversations that reach for connection.

Community projects that Fawzy has and continues to be a part of include St Hilda’s East, House of Annetta, Platform, Tottenham Family Fight Back. They studied BSc. Anatomy, Developmental and Human Biology (2015) and PG Dip. Adult Nursing (2018) at King’s College London and MA Art & Science (2024) at Central Saint Martins. She is currently undertaking a practice-based Masters of Midwifery.
