The Feminist Welding Club, created by artist and designer Anna Zimmermann, offers supported welding session in a welcoming environment to those who often face barriers in male dominated crafts like welding. Through technical guidance, small exercises, experimentation and play, participants will have the chance to explore TIG and MIG welding techniques and build confidence in working with metal. No prior experience in welding or metalwork is needed. These sessions are open to everyone who aligns with the ethos of the Feminist Welding Club, with priority given to those who identify as women, transgender, non-binary, and genderqueer.
