Part of the Blackhorse Workshop 11th Birthday Festival

Led by tutor Pen Phillips

Join this DIY course to learn the basics of home decorating and repairs, using simple tools and woodwork techniques. We’ll guide you through the safe use of tools, accurate measuring techniques, and essential DIY Dos and Don’ts. All attendees will receive a DIY Tips & Tricks handout packed with useful information and resources. Most importantly, we hope you’ll leave feeling empowered to start Doing It Yourself at home!

This low-cost DIY Surgery is designed to support people on low income, single parents, and carers etc., by providing the knowledge and confidence to tackle DIY projects. We will not be asking for any proof of income or carer status but hope attendees will sign up in good faith if they are the ones in need of this skill-gaining session.

This session also runs 9.30-12.30am, book here.
