Make Stuff Club Home Education is a creative, weekly after school club for children aged 9-15 years old who are home educated.

These sessions are for young people who have an interest in using their hands and making things but with no prior making experience necessary.

Each term across 14 workshops your child will have covered the basics of woodworking, safe tool use and how to take an idea from paper to prototype.

Autumn 2026 we will be collaborating with Blackhorse Workshop based designer This Is Byron.

This Is Byron is a design informed maker specialising utilising waste material to create new products and furniture.

We will be designing small chairs or stools using wood for the skeleton framework and developing our own cardboard mulch to create their final design.

Tools: measuring tape, handsaw, coping saw, hand-held drills, pillar drill, belt-sander, chisel, hammer.
