Arjun is a Multidisciplinary Designer, Maker & Artist. His journey in design and making began in family’s Furniture business in Mombasa, Kenya. He spent his early years taking on a variety of furniture projects, ranging from bespoke to mass production and residential to commercial.

Having a holistic understanding of wood manufacture and operations management, he went on to develop his practice in the UK. He took on a Furniture & Product Design degree at Nottingham Trent University. Upon graduating in 2019 Arjun was awarded ‘Product of the Year at London Design Festival – 100% Design’ for his Weave Chair. His journey ever since has led him to run his creative practice in London, and now from Blackhorse Workshop.

Arjun is open to taking on furniture and product commissions, managing short term production projects, training a team of designers and makers; and offering design consultation on creative projects.
