Urs is a Carpenter, Woodworker, Wood Recycler, Ecologist, father of three, Swiss-born North Londoner.

Urs has been designing and building and creating furniture for 25 years, self taught, built on a passion for saving our natural resources and using them in a way that gives new life to beautifully aged wood. Those that know him might remember the very beginnings in the days of Wood Matters, where her built furniture and learnt his trade from the wood cluttered backyard of one of the first ecological, fair trade and inspired gift shops in London, off Brecknock Road in Camden. 

Today he works mainly through word-of-mouth, via a network of customers he has generated through years of creative bespoke projects.
